2 ways to join the Meet - by an email invitation or via a link on the Classroom itself

Please check you can get to the Meet in good time before the session is due to start.

1. Check your equipment is working in good time.

2. Check you are in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed.

3. Care: remember that other people will see what's in the background when your camera is on.

4. It works best if one person speaks at a time in the conversation.  Mute your microphone when you are not speaking.

5. You can text using Chat if you've got a question or something you want to share.

Google Meet works well on mobile devices EXCEPT: if you will be joining a breakout room in your course, you need to have the free Google Meet app installed on your device. Simply find and install this free app from Google Playstore (Android) or the App Store (IPads and iPhones).
