Connect To Work
Background & Experience:
I have a strong background in childcare and education, with extensive experience supporting learners 1:1, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD and ADHD. I joined Adult Education in January 2025 as a Learning Support Advisor, helping learners achieve their potential in Functional Skills. Since August 2025, I’ve progressed into Further Education teaching, delivering sessions solely on employability, IT, and digital skills.

Teaching Philosophy:
I believe learning should be engaging, practical, and inclusive. I create a welcoming environment where all learners feel supported and confident, with a focus on hands-on activities and interactive sessions. My approach is learner-centred, adapting to individual needs to help everyone succeed and enjoy the process.
Additional information:
I’m a keen traveller and have spent three summers working in Boston and New York with Camp America, exploring 37 U.S. states along the way!
I really enjoy teaching adults because, like my learners, I’m always learning myself through travel and new experiences. I’m passionate about supporting people from all backgrounds, helping individuals with different needs and opportunities grow in confidence and achieve their goals
