I have extensive experience translating complex biological concepts into accessible, actionable strategies for diverse adult audiences.
Key Expertise:
Sleep science and hygiene, women’s health and hormonal sleep transitions, neuroscience and psychology related to child development, attachment-informed support, breastfeeding peer support, pediatric sleep education, deep health literacy, Italian language tutoring, and communication skills.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that knowledge is the ultimate tool for personal empowerment. I believe adult learning should feel supportive, engaging, and respectful. Every learner brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges, and I aim to create an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and learning at their own pace.
My teaching style combines empathy with practical strategies and evidence-based information. I value open communication, curiosity, and real-world application, helping learners feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. I especially enjoy supporting learners who may feel anxious about studying or returning to education after a long break.
As a lifelong learner myself, I understand the challenges of balancing study with work, parenting, and everyday responsibilities, and I strive to make learning accessible and motivating.
Additional information:
I am originally from Naples and I moved to the UK in 2016. I speak both Italian and English and enjoy working with learners from different cultural backgrounds. Outside of my professional practice, I am an active member of my local community and a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) member.
I am a strong advocate for community building and peer-to-peer support, firmly believing that we learn best when we connect, share experiences, and lift each other up within a collaborative learning environment. I bring this passion into my adult education courses because it provides a direct platform to improve community health literacy and well-being, one engaging session at a time.
