Art Tutor

Background & Experience:  

I have been an adult learning tutor for over 10 years, since graduating from Chelsea College of Arts (University of the Arts London), with an MA in Fine Art. I have a wealth professional experience across exhibiting, curating, and leading in the voluntary arts sector. 

Key Expertise: 

I specialise in painting and drawing for beginners courses, and art for health and wellbeing in my wider creative practice. 

Teaching Philosophy:

My approach to teaching focuses on giving learners the tools to explore and develop their own style and creative practice that lasts beyond the duration of the course. To do this weight is given to understanding the fundamentals, for example why you may choose to use a certain colour palette, paintbrush or technique over another; meaning there will be a mix of exploration through theory and practical work within my classes.
